Right on the edge of town but with trees and a lake nearby, Woking Park punches well above its weight for a free day out. The jungle-themed adventure playground is the main draw — slides, water features, sand underfoot, and enough going on to keep kids between 2 and 12 genuinely busy for hours. It’s fully enclosed, which is a lifesaver, and the visibility for parents is decent so you can actually sit down at one of the picnic tables without constantly craning your neck. There’s a basketball court, soccer field, bike track, and a solid walking path if the adults need to stretch their legs too. Free parking seals the deal — it’s the kind of place locals take for granted until a friend from out of town points out how good it actually is.
