If you’re local to the Rooksdown area, you already know this place gets busy on weekends — and for good reason. The zipline is the main draw, always with a queue of kids waiting their turn, but there’s plenty more to keep them occupied with swings, slides, and a solid climbing structure that works for toddlers right through to older ones. There’s also a skate park on site, which means teenagers actually want to come here too, which isn’t always the case. The circular walking path that loops near the forest edge is a decent excuse for adults to stretch their legs while the kids do their thing. Honestly, come on a weekday if you can — weekends get crowded fast.
