If you’ve got a dog and a kid under 10, this place is genuinely one of the better spots in Hastings. The playground itself has the usual setup — slides, swings, a climbing structure — but it’s well-kept and the right scale for younger ones, roughly 2 to 10. What makes it stand out is the large enclosed field attached to it, where the dog can have a proper run while the kids do their thing on the equipment. Everything’s contained, so you’re not constantly chasing anyone toward a road. Local families come back to it regularly, and honestly, it’s easy to see why.
