Preston Park Playground

Preston Park had a decent refresh not too long ago, and it shows — the fenced-off play area feels properly sorted now, with climbing frames, slides, and a sandbox that younger kids absolutely tear into. It’s well set up for under-10s, and the fact that there are cafes nearby means you’re not stuck surviving on whatever’s left in your bag. Beyond the play area, there’s a basketball court and a football pitch if older siblings need somewhere to burn off energy too. Benches are actually useful here, not just an afterthought, and the walking path around the open grass is a nice touch if you fancy a loop while keeping an eye on the kids.
