Greenfields Recreation Ground

Decent little spot if you’ve got a toddler who needs burning off some energy — the slides and swings are well-suited to the younger ones, nothing too intimidating. It’s got that relaxed, unhurried feel that makes it easy to actually enjoy a visit rather than spend the whole time on edge. The walking path is a nice touch, so you can do a lap or two while the kids play, and the views out across Alton are genuinely worth stopping for. Probably not worth a special trip from far away, but if you’re local to Alton with a pre-schooler, it ticks the boxes.
