Right next to the fairground on Southsea Common, this enclosed play area is a solid go-to for families on a day out along the seafront. There’s a decent mix of equipment — slides, swings, a seesaw, and a sandbox — so kids of different ages tend to find something to keep them busy. The fencing makes it easy to relax on one of the benches without constantly chasing after little ones. When they’ve burned through the playground, the open grass field right alongside gives them even more room to run.
