Alver Valley Play Area

If you’ve got kids who like getting muddy and burning off energy, this one’s worth the trip. The play area covers the basics well — slides, swings, a climbing structure — but honestly the bike track is what makes it a cut above your average Gosport green space. Bring the bikes, pack a picnic (there are tables), and plan to stay a while because the open grass field and walking paths give everyone room to roam. It gets properly muddy after rain, so don’t say you weren’t warned.
