Tucked into the woodland grounds of Lanhydrock, this is the kind of play area that actually keeps kids busy for more than ten minutes. The wooden climbing structure is solid and well-thought-out, with a tall slide that the 5-to-9 crowd absolutely tears down, plus a rope net swing that’s genuinely fun rather than just decorative. The monkey bars have a reputation for being slippery, so fair warning on that front. Being sheltered by the trees makes a real difference on blustery Cornish days — it’s noticeably calmer in there than out on the estate grounds.
