Cefn Don Play Area

Locals know this one’s worth the trip if you’re heading out along the Cynon Trail anyway. It’s a solid, no-fuss spot for families in the Hirwaun end of Aberdare — nothing flashy, but that’s kind of the point. Kids get space to run around and burn off some energy while you take a breath. Handy too that there are places nearby to grab a bite after.
