Belturbet playground

Down by the marina, this little playground sits right alongside the Shannon Erne waterway, which honestly makes it one of the better spots in Cavan for a family afternoon out. Nothing too elaborate — swings and slides — but the setting does a lot of the heavy lifting. Kids can burn off energy while you actually get to enjoy the view of the water, which isn’t something you can say about many playgrounds. It’s accessible too, so worth keeping in mind if that matters to your group.
