Blackwaterfoot Playpark

Right on the west side of Arran, this wee playpark is a handy stop if you’re passing through Blackwaterfoot with kids in tow. It sits close to the Kinloch Hotel and the Blackwaterfoot Bakehouse, so you can grab a coffee or a bite while the little ones run off some energy. It’s a fairly simple setup, but that suits the village just fine. Honestly, the location does a lot of the heavy lifting — this corner of Arran is quietly lovely, and the pace of things here makes even a quick play stop feel relaxed.
