Long Bay playground

The zipline gets a solid workout here — kids queue up for it while parents plant themselves on the grass and enjoy the fact that the beach is literally a two-minute walk away. It’s a smaller setup, so don’t expect a massive climbing structure, but for the 2-8 crowd the swings, zipline, and sandbox hit the right notes. What makes Long Bay worth the trip is really the combination — after the playground burns off the first wave of energy, you’ve got the beach on one side and a flat bush walk on the other. Locals know to make a half-day of it.
