Harrier Point Park

The big bird climbing structure here is genuinely one of a kind — kids go absolutely nuts for it, and honestly it’s pretty hard not to stop and stare yourself. There’s a solid zipline and slides to keep the 3–12 crowd busy while you get the BBQ fired up, which is always a good call with the beach this close. The walking and bike track loops around nicely, so if the little ones need to burn off more energy after the playground, you’ve got options. It’s a quieter spot than a lot of Auckland parks, which makes the waterfront views actually feel worth enjoying rather than just backdrop noise.
