Omana Regional Park – Play Ground

If you’re heading out to Maraetai for the day, this one’s worth making the stop. The playground sits right near the bush trails, so once the kids are done on the slides and swings, there’s genuinely good exploring to be had — older ones especially love poking around the forest edge. The enclosed play area with interlocking gates means you can actually relax at the picnic tables without constantly counting heads. Bike track and walking paths give everyone something to do, and the views out here are the kind that remind you why people move to this side of Auckland in the first place.
