Snakes and Ladders Park

The snake-shaped slides and tunnel system here are genuinely unlike anything else you’ll find in Auckland — kids lose their minds over it, and honestly it holds up. Being this close to the beach means you can do a morning at the park, hit the water after lunch, and still have energy left for a BBQ at one of the dedicated spots. The sandbox and water feature keep the younger ones occupied while older kids tear around the bike track or the open grass. Restrooms and parking are sorted, which makes a real difference when you’ve got a crew in tow. A solid full-day option if you’re anywhere near this part of the coast.
