Fairfield Park

Right next to Fairfield Primary, this is one of those parks that genuinely gets used — not just on weekends but most afternoons when school lets out. There’s a skate park, basketball court, and a big open grass field with soccer space, so older kids and teenagers actually have reasons to stick around. Younger ones (from about 2 up) have swings to keep them busy while the bigger kids do their thing. It’s not fancy, but it’s well-rounded and the community centre nearby means there’s usually people around, which helps.
