Hillcrest Park Playground

The renovation here made a real difference — it’s one of the tidier playgrounds in the area, with artificial grass that stays clean and usable even after wet weather. Families tend to settle in for a while, especially with the picnic tables under the shade trees making it easy to bring lunch and actually relax. The open field gives kids room to properly run around, and the walking path connects you into the reserve if you want to stretch your legs among the trees. It works for all ages, which isn’t always a given — younger kids and older ones both seem to find something to do here.
