If you’re up early enough to catch the sunrise over Ōhope, this little spot is worth stopping at. The swings are the main drawcard, and honestly, kids are pretty happy just working those while the light comes up over the water. It’s a simple setup, best suited for the under-10 crowd, but sometimes simple is exactly what you need. Locals know to time it right — sunrise here is something else entirely.
