Tasman Road Playground

The pirate ship structure here is genuinely one of the better ones on the Kāpiti Coast — kids go absolutely feral for it, in the best way. There’s a zipline that actually gets some speed up, plus a sandbox for the little ones who aren’t ready for the big stuff yet. Shade trees keep things bearable on hot summer days, and the picnic tables mean you can actually sit down and eat lunch like a human being. Restrooms are on-site which, if you’ve got young kids, you already know is non-negotiable. The open grass field out the back gives everyone room to spread out after the playground chaos settles down.
