If you’re local, you already know the flying fox is the main event here — kids queue up for it on weekends and honestly, fair enough. The whole setup sits right at the edge of the forest, so it feels a bit wilder than your average town playground, with decent shade trees keeping things cool when the sun’s doing its thing. There’s a basketball court and a soccer field for older kids, plus plenty of open grass for the little ones to just run around on. After you’ve done the rounds, the bakery nearby is pretty much a given — it’s that kind of spot. One of those places where you actually want to hang around for a while.
