Townsend Road Reserve is one of the newer additions to Rangiora and honestly it shows — everything still feels fresh and well looked after. The zipline is the clear crowd favourite with the under-10 set, though the slides and swings keep things busy too. There’s a bike track alongside the open grass field, so kids can bounce between activities without getting bored. Picnic tables and a toilet on site mean you can actually settle in for a proper afternoon rather than rushing off.
