Victoria Park Playground

Locals have been bringing their kids here for years, and it’s easy to see why — the shade from those mature trees alone makes it worth the trip on a hot Canterbury afternoon. There’s a solid mix of slides, swings, a climbing structure, and a merry go round, so kids across pretty much every age group find something to keep them busy. The toilets are genuinely good (clean, with a baby changing station), which if you’ve done the rounds of Rangiora’s parks, you’ll know isn’t something to take for granted. Plenty of bench seating, a big open grass field, and enough room to spread out a blanket and actually relax while the kids do their thing.
