Twizel punches well above its weight with this one. The playground got a solid upgrade not too long ago and it shows — everything still feels new, the equipment is clean, and there’s actually enough variety to keep kids of different ages busy at the same time. You’ve got slides, swings, and a decent climbing structure, plus BBQ facilities and parking right there if you want to make a proper afternoon of it. Locals bring the whole family and it genuinely works for all of them, from little ones to older kids who’d otherwise be bored in five minutes.
