Dipton st playground

Locals have a soft spot for this one — it’s been the backdrop for a lot of Invercargill childhoods over the years. The equipment covers the basics well enough to keep kids genuinely occupied, and the shade trees are a proper bonus on those rare Southland days when the sun actually shows up. Nothing flashy, but that’s kind of the point. Some playgrounds just have a good feeling about them, and this is one of those.
