Owaka children’s playground

Right on Main Road, so you can’t really miss it when you’re passing through town. It’s a solid little spot for families stopping off in Owaka — the kind of place that actually thinks about all kids being able to join in, which you don’t always see in small towns. The Catlins brings plenty of visitors through here, and this playground gives everyone a decent reason to stretch their legs and let the kids burn some energy. Locals use it too, which says something about how the community feels about it.
