Manurewa Memorial Park

Locals know this Gibbs Road spot as one of those reliable weekday-after-school parks where the kids can actually burn off some energy. The slides, swings, and climbing structure keep them occupied long enough for you to have a proper breather, and the layout means you’re not constantly craning your neck to check where everyone is. It’s a proper community park — nothing fancy, but that’s kind of the point. If you’ve got sporty kids, there’s more to do in the area beyond the play equipment too.
