Public playground

The musical equipment here is genuinely one of the better touches you’ll find in a Roscommon playground — kids go absolutely mad for it, and it keeps them entertained longer than the usual swings-and-slide setup. It works well for toddlers right up to school age, so you’re not constantly watching the clock if you’ve got a mix of ages. Pack a lunch because the picnic tables make it easy to stretch the visit out. There’s a soccer field on site too, which is handy if the older ones need to burn off some energy after the music section has lost its appeal.
