Turlough Community Playground

Right beside Turlough House and the museum, this little playground sits so naturally among the trees you’d nearly miss it from the road. The long slide is the star of the show — kids make a beeline for it every time. It’s the kind of spot that feels different depending on when you visit, with wildflowers showing up in summer and the woods taking on a whole other character come autumn. The walking path makes it easy to stretch the legs after the kids have had their fill of the slide.
