Maynooth Playground

One of the better-kept playgrounds in Kildare, this one actually has separate sections for younger kids and older ones — which makes a real difference when you’ve got a toddler and a seven-year-old in tow. The equipment is clean and well looked after, with slides, swings, a climbing structure, and a sandbox keeping the little ones busy for longer than you’d expect. There’s decent parking, some good shade from the trees on warmer days, and a walking path if you want to stretch your legs while the kids burn off energy. The basketball court and soccer field mean older kids aren’t just standing around waiting for a go on the swings either. Solid all-rounder for families in the area.
