Ellistown playground

Tucked away off the R51, this little playground is one of those spots that somehow stays off most people’s radar — which is exactly why locals love it. It never gets that weekend circus chaos you see at bigger parks, so kids actually get a proper run at the equipment. The whole place is kept in good nick, which you don’t always take for granted around here. Parking is handy right nearby, and there are benches if you need to sit and wait it out. Worth knowing about if you’re anywhere in that part of Kildare.
