Rathangan Playground

Honestly one of the nicer spots in Kildare for a family afternoon — the zipline alone makes it worth the trip for most kids. It’s a fully enclosed area so you’re not constantly chasing little ones, and the shade trees actually make a difference on a warm day. There’s a pond nearby which adds to the whole feel of the place, and the walking path means adults have something to do while the kids wear themselves out on the slides and swings. Picnic tables are there if you want to make a proper outing of it. It’s a well-kept local gem that Rathangan should be proud of.
