Inisheer Playground

Honestly, for an island this size, the playground on Inisheer punches well above its weight. Kids go absolutely mad for it — there’s a zipline, a sandbox, climbing frames, and some genuinely quirky equipment you won’t find on the mainland, like a pulley seat that looks like a digger shovel. The sand underfoot keeps things soft for the inevitable tumbles, and there’s enough open space that even the runners have room to burn off energy. Restrooms on site too, which makes a real difference when you’re out here with little ones for the day.
