Amenity Walk & Playground Little Island

The looped walk here is a proper 2.7km stretch with harbour views that honestly rival anything you’d find on a tourist postcard — and most locals still don’t know about it. Kids go mad for the fairy garden, which is small but genuinely charming, and the playground keeps them busy while adults actually get a chance to breathe. There’s wildlife all over the place — rabbits, birds, the lot — especially if you wander near the water. The old ruins dotted around give it a bit of character beyond your standard amenity walk. Parking is handy, so it’s an easy one to just throw the family in the car and head to on a whim.
