Right on the edge of Kilmore Quay, this spot earns its name — you’re playing with the Saltee Islands sitting right there on the horizon, which honestly never gets old. The coastal setting does most of the heavy lifting here, and on a clear day it’s the kind of view that stops you mid-push on the swings. There’s parking close by and toilets on site, so you’re not scrambling around with kids in tow. Worth combining with a walk along the beach path and maybe a fish and chips from the village afterwards — that’s the proper way to do it.
