Croagh is one of those quiet corners of Limerick that doesn’t get enough credit, and the playground here is a solid reason to make the trip out. Kids aged 2 to 12 have plenty to keep them busy — slides, swings, and a climbing structure that’ll wear out even the most energetic ones. The enclosed area is a genuine relief if you’ve got little runners, and the sightlines are good enough that you’re not constantly jumping up from the picnic table. There’s open grass alongside for older kids or a kick-about after playtime. Nothing flashy, just a well-kept local spot that does exactly what it needs to.
