Gowrie Playground

The zipline (or “mini flying fox” as the local kids call it) is the main drawcard here — there’s usually a queue for it on weekday afternoons. Throw in a tire swing and a decent climbing structure with slides, and younger kids are pretty well sorted. The open grass field gives them room to burn off whatever energy’s left after the equipment. A few shade trees mean you’re not completely cooked sitting there in summer, though you’ll want to position yourself early on a hot day.
