If you grew up around Isaacs, chances are you’ve already got a soft spot for this one. The vintage metal climbing tunnel is the real drawcard — you don’t see those much anymore, and kids go absolutely feral for it in the best way. There’s also a sliding pole, metal slide, seesaw, and swings, so it’s not a one-trick pony. The shade trees do decent work on a hot Canberra day, and the bench underneath means you can actually sit and watch the chaos rather than standing around awkwardly. It’s old-school in all the right ways.
