Strangways Street Playground

Pretty solid little neighbourhood spot that gets the basics right. The swing set covers all ages with standard and toddler bucket seats, and the spinning poles are genuinely fun — kids always end up on those longer than expected. The play structure has stairs, a platform, a sliding pole, and a metal slide, so there’s enough to keep younger kids busy for a decent stretch. Shade trees do a reasonable job on hot Canberra afternoons, and the picnic tables make it easy to hang around without standing the whole time.
