Dutton Street Playground

Dickson locals know this one well — it’s the kind of low-key spot you end up at after a walk along the nearby trails or a loop around the pond. The swings get plenty of use from kids of all ages, and the open grass field means there’s actually room to kick a ball around without anyone getting in each other’s way. Benches are dotted around for parents who want to sit and watch without hovering. It’s nothing flashy, but it’s close to everything, quiet enough to actually relax, and the forest edge nearby gives it a bit of character that the bigger playgrounds don’t have.
