Crace Recreation Park Playground

One of the better-equipped parks in the north of Canberra, this one genuinely has something for every age group. The playground covers the classics — slides, swings, a seesaw, tunnels — but the musical equipment and climbing structure give kids a reason to stay longer than you’d expect. Fire up one of the BBQs, grab a bench under the shade trees, and you’re set for a proper afternoon out. There’s a basketball court and soccer field if the older kids get restless, plus a walking path that takes you around near the pond. Restrooms on-site and decent parking make it easy with little ones in tow.
