Alexandra Park’s main oval is your classic East Albury open space — big enough to kick a footy, set up a cricket pitch, or just let the kids tear around without bumping into anything. There’s something to be said for a flat, open field when you’re sick of playgrounds with queues for the slide. Locals use it for everything from weekend sport to after-school runs. It’s nothing flash, but that’s kind of the point.
