Cringila Hills Playground

The bike and pump track here is genuinely one of the better ones in the Illawarra — locals know it, and it doesn’t get half the attention it deserves. Kids of all ages and skill levels can get a solid session in, whether they’re just learning to balance or already throwing berms with confidence. It sits on the edge of some nice bushland, so there’s that quiet, slightly removed feeling even though you’re firmly in the suburbs. The accessibility features are a real standout too — Braille displays show someone actually thought this through properly. Families come back to this one regularly, and it shows in how well the place is looked after.
