The refurb they did here made a real difference — the colour scheme actually works, which isn’t something you can say about every council playground. Kids from about 3 and up seem pretty happy with the swings, and there’s a basketball court right next to it so older ones don’t get bored. Grab a bench and you’ve got a decent view of the rose garden, which is a bit of an unexpected bonus in a suburban park. Penshurst locals definitely got a good deal with this one.
