If you’re after a park where the kids can genuinely burn a few hours, this one in Greenacre delivers. The sandpit and water feature are the main drawcards — little ones tend to plant themselves there and not move, which is honestly fine because the sightlines are good and you can watch from the picnic tables without hovering. Older kids usually migrate to the bike track or the tunnels and slides while you get the BBQ going. There’s plenty of open grass for a kick around too, and parking is easy enough that you’re not circling the block before you’ve even started. A solid all-rounder for families with kids anywhere from toddlers up to around 12.
