Federal Park Playground

Honestly, Federal Park has had a bit of a glow-up lately with the renovations, and the older kids and teens are definitely the ones getting the most out of it. The sandbox is there for the littlies, but this spot really comes into its own for the 10-plus crowd who want something with a bit more edge. It backs onto some decent trails and greenery which gives it that slightly wilder feel you don’t always get in an urban park. Fair warning though — the dog situation can be hit or miss, so watch your step and keep an eye on younger ones. It’s worth a visit, just maybe not on a busy weekend afternoon when it gets a bit chaotic.
