North Steyne Playground

Right on the beachfront strip at Manly, this little fenced playground is honestly one of the better spots for toddlers and under-5s who aren’t quite ready for the chaos of the main beach. The enclosure means you can actually relax for five minutes without chasing someone toward the surf. Those shade trees do real work in the afternoon, which matters a lot when you’re dealing with a sun-sensitive toddler and no patience left. It’s small, it’s simple, but for the age group it’s aimed at, it hits the mark.
