Lithgow Adventure Playground

South Bowenfels locals know this one well — it’s the kind of playground kids genuinely don’t want to leave. The enclosed area makes it way less stressful for parents of toddlers, and the shade trees actually do their job on a hot afternoon while you grab a bench or picnic table. Kids aged 2 through 12 have plenty to keep them busy between the slides, tunnels, climbing structure, merry-go-round, and swings. There’s decent parking, good sightlines across the whole space, and an open grass field if they need to burn off whatever energy is left.
