Mayfield locals have a solid little spot here — the equipment is modern and actually well-maintained, which isn’t something you can say about every council playground in the area. There’s a decent variety of things for kids to get stuck into, so it works for a range of ages rather than just the toddler crowd. The shaded seating and picnic tables make it easy to stick around for a while without baking in the sun. Parking on the street is pretty straightforward too, so you’re not circling the block before you even get started.
