Locals know this one’s worth the trip, especially if you’re combining it with a run on the Medowie MTB trails right nearby. The playground gives kids somewhere to burn off steam while the dog gets a run around too — it’s that kind of spot where the whole family actually gets something out of the visit. Laurina St isn’t exactly a main drag, but that’s half the appeal; it stays pretty relaxed and doesn’t get overrun on weekends.
