Scurr park

Scurr Park is one of those spots in Mount Gravatt East that locals quietly rely on — and it earns the loyalty. The enclosed play area keeps younger kids contained near the road, which parents genuinely appreciate, and there’s enough shade from trees and covered seating that you’re not baking through a whole afternoon visit. Kids from toddlers up to about 12 get decent mileage out of the slides, swings, and climbing structure, while older ones tend to drift over to the half basketball court. It stays noticeably clean compared to a lot of parks in the area, and the open grass field gives everyone room to spread out.
